Abstract
The Razzaza area represents an inland water body. This water body endured several changes during the past twenty years. The most prominent has occurred in the shape (size) of Razzaza Lake. This led to drastic results and caused a considerable drawbacks in the ecological transition, socionatural system, adaptive behavior (adaptation) , besides the accumulation of sediment deposits found around and within the water body of lake (new or growing of island) . All of these effects may cause severe and permanent environmental damage. This study tries to inspect the nature of the newly developed deposits which include (dunes, sheet, drift) sand bodies, sedimentary structures (ripple marks) leading to a new built environment of Eolian Deposits. Visual Satellite Images interpretation and photos showing the change of shoreline and new sediment accumulation. The mineralogy of sediment and old rock formation were studied, but from satellite images we can see improvement in water supply during 2011.
